Jim Shelhammer: Jim is new to our Board and volunteers his talents at the Furniture Depot on Tuesday. Jim has accepted the position of treasurer. Jim resides in Belle Plaine. Jim enjoys community service work with past service to his church and the lions. Jim enjoys spending time with his family and enjoys a round of golf.
Marilyn Wilson: Marilyn has been elected as Board Chairperson for 2012.
Marilyn enjoys her two new grandchildren and can’t get enough time with them. She is employed by Carver County and works tirelessly as General Manger of the Furniture Depot.
Dottie Norlander: Dottie is our new Board Vice Chair and excels as a volunteer at the Furniture Depot. Dottie resides in Mound where she enjoys a lovely home. Dottie enjoys time with her sisters and her grand daughter.
Dean Hilgers: Dean is not new to our Board nor to tireless volunteer work. Dean has been past Chair and volunteers at the Furniture Depot on Friday.
He resides in Waconia where he is a lifelong resident. Dean has a passion for flight and logs as many hours as possible in his airplane. Dean spends his time serving on several other non- profit boards.
Mike Burnett: Mike is a first time Board member. Mike works in Waconia and resides in Minnetonka. He brings a good balanced business sense to the Board. Mike has a passion for his family, cooking and golf.
Larry Christianson: Larry is returning to the Board where he has been a member for the last two years. Larry is now retired and resides in Waconia.
He is an accomplished writer and has several books published in his name.
Larry loves spending time with his spouse Norma where both enjoy traveling and visiting the Boundary Waters area of Minnesota.
